I asked my dad to teach me how to fix a broken appliance for Father's Day, so I could finally learn from the master of DIY repairs
He smiled and said, 'The only thing I'm going to fix is the fact that you still call me for help, by teaching you how to do it yourself, just like I did with your grandfather, and his father before him.'

My dad is such a dedicated grill master, he has a special spatula for every occasion.
For Father's Day, I got him a personalized one, and he said, "Now this is *flippin'* awesome!"
My dad always says, 'A project well begun is half done.'
Which explains why most of his home improvement projects are still in the 'tool organization' phase.
When I was a kid, I asked my dad if he believed in superheroes.
He just looked at me, grunted, and said, 'Only the ones who change tires, conquer spreadsheets, and occasionally grill a perfect burger.' Then he ruffled my hair, and for a second, I thought I saw his cape.
I framed a picture of my dad's handyman to-do list for Father's Day
And he said it was the first time someone finally understood his life's work
