👔 Father's Day Joke
Dad TributeFriday, August 14, 2026
Whenever something went missing in our house, my mom would always say, 'Go ask your dad.'
And he’d always find it, usually in plain sight. I think he secretly just wanted to make sure we always knew who to turn to when we were lost. Or just, you know, couldn't find the TV remote.

I asked my dad what he truly wanted for Father's Day this year.
He just sighed dramatically and said, "Peace and quiet... and someone to stop touching the thermostat."
I finally asked my dad why he always recorded our family vacations on his old camcorder, even when the rest of the world had moved on to smartphones.
He smiled and said, 'Because I wanted to capture the memories, not just the moments.'
My dad tried to teach me how to fish once.
After an hour of tangled lines and no bites, he finally just put his arm around me and said, 'You know, the best part isn't catching fish, it's just being here with you.' He still didn't catch anything that day, but he definitely caught my heart.
For Father's Day, I got my dad a really fancy smart home system, hoping it would simplify things.
He just reprogrammed everything to automatically turn off lights the second someone leaves a room and set the thermostat to 'financially responsible'.
