I'm trying to follow the classic boomer advice to 'invest in real estate'

but the only property I can afford is a timeshare in my parents' basement

I've been doing the work in therapy to improve my attachment style

Now I'm just aggressively attached to my couch and refusal to commit to anything else

They told me to 'just stop eating avocado toast', like that's the down payment on a McMansion

I've been reading all these self-help books to improve my mental health

now my apartment is just a pile of unread books and unfulfilled potential
