I've been trying to save up for a down payment on a house

but at this rate, I'll be able to afford a mortgage when I'm eligible for a senior discount

I'm trying to adult, but my budget is a puzzle

and the only piece that fits is ramen noodles

I asked my parents for housing advice, and they said to just 'save up' and 'be patient'

which is easy to say when your mortgage is paid off and avocado toast was 50 cents

I'm starting to think the only asset I'll ever own is a decent wifi connection
