I'm trying to buy a house, but my budget is tight

I've got a 500k mortgage and a 5k salary, I'm basically just renting money from the bank at this point

My parents told me to 'just pull myself up by my bootstraps.'

My boots are from Target and the straps broke two months ago.

I've been doing the work in therapy to improve my attachment style

Now I'm just anxiously attached to my therapist.

I just got a raise, but it's all going to inflation

so basically I'm just getting paid in nostalgia for the prices of 2019
